Product Overview
The 3-inch Surface Coil was designed to be used in 1.5T MRI systems. It functions as a Faraday loop to transform the small Magnetic Resonance (MR) signal from the patient to a voltage useable by the scanner receiver. The 3-inch Surface Coil provides a minimal coil area over an anatomical region that is being scanned. The 3 inch round coil is a series RLC network. The coil assembly is housed inside a Polycarbonate housing and comes with a 60 inch long coaxial cable with BNC Male connector. The assembly has all label information pasted on its housing and is compatible with GE's Brivo 355, Optima 360 1.5T, Signa Excite 1.5T, Signa HDe 1.5T, and Signa HDx 1.5T systems.
